Blue Screen of Death with Comodo Privacy Cleaner


After identifying some 9000 files that could be cleaned up, I launched the cleanup, and at the end, so it seems, I got a Blue Screen of Death. I had to hit the Reset button to get going again. When I restarted all seemed normal. Dare I use this feature again? Did I do something wrong?



Please provide us with the following information in order to analyze and fix this problem:

  • Version of CSC installed
  • Your Operating System (and whether it’s 32bit/64bit);
  • Security Software Installed;
  • How you produced the problem (in what module -CRC/CDC/CPC- did you perform the clean-up or did you used the “Clean My Computer” function?)
  • Post Memory Dump on crash if you still have it;
  • All log files of CSC, if you had logs enabled;
  • Any other Additional Information;
