Blue screen occured while Comodo was used

Hi!
I use the Comodo Firewall Version 7.0.317799.4142 now for testing on a very stable WIN XP system.
I experienced a blue screen while Comodo asked for a rule for a file accessing the internet.
After that the system did not start anymore and was completely damaged.
I loaded the system backup into that system, now it is running again (with comodo), but please help.
A firewall causing blue screens is absolutely unuseable.
What must I do to correct that?

Please try reinstalling it by following the advice given in this topic. Also, please follow the advice on this page to make sure your computer is configured to make Complete Dumps. This sort of dump is the only type which contains enough information for the devs to identify and fix whatever caused the BSOD.

Then, once the above is done, please test and see if the BSOD re-occurs. If it does please edit your first post so that it is in the format provided here. This will also provide the devs with the other important information. If you have any questions about how to do this, or require any help, please feel free to ask.

I always have harddiscs with clean systems laying around.
So I now installed it on a clean XP SP3 32 bit system to see what happens.
Maybe I also will try a WIN8 system, but we usually work with WIN XP or Linux. But at linux we need no firewalls.

Great. Just make sure you configure it to make the Complete Memory Dump before testing. That way if something does go wrong you will already have the required dump file.
