Hello i am using Microsoft Live Messenger 8.5 and how can i block the annoying advertisements that are displayed in the messenger, i have already tried to block port http 80-83 and port 7001 but no results. Who knows how to block these advertisement/garbage in the live messenger. (R)

You would probably need 3rd party hacks, and CFP is definitely not one of them. Besides, it’s against forum policy to discuss illegal software - I’m sure WLM has a service agreement that most users don’t read about about it being adware.
The ads, I believe, are delivered over the same port pairing that the messaging communications are sent over. If you block one you will have blocked the other. Acceptance of the ads is part of the installation terms.
