Block pop-ups

Hi,

I have shifted from Outpost Pro to CIS with out AV installed.
The feature i’m missing here is that it could not able to block pop-ups successfully. Online movie streaming sites,…
Is there any setting to do that and any chance of having an ip block list.

are you talking about when outpost blocks ad’s by placing a [AD] which is inplaced for ad’s?

  1. That is one more thing i’m missing in CIS here.

  2. And web-site redirecting/pop-ups seems to be missing here.
    Are the above two are related to packet filtering?

  3. the only one advantage till 1 day of using CIS v4 is that it is bit faster in loading web-pages.

Can you help me in points in 1 & 2…

I’m using Win 7 64 bit along with NOD32 v4.2

Hi All,

I found a way to do above two points as stated. Just add the web-browser into the sandbox “Add a Program to the Sandbox” option.
but this does not work with internet explorer as it gets closes itself immediately when it is opened (more than limited restriction level).

Hi,

I found two bugs (probably) with the sandbox -

  1. When i add the web-browser to the sandbox thru “Add a Program to the Sandbox” option, i cannot even listen to the videos played. No audio.

  2. When i add internet explorer to the sandbox, it gets closes itself immediately when it is opened (more than limited restriction level).

Do i need to report it in the bug section?
