After searching trough the net for a week for the best firewall sollution, I chose to download the COMODO beta version. I am quite happy with the product and appreciate the fact that not all services/functions are active yet.
It’s been 2 months now and I’m wondering if there are any release products that match/better the beta and if not, whats the timeframe for the next version?
Will the new ver. come with an uninstaller or will I have to uninstall my ver. manually?
Can I be sure that my ver. is as safe as previously released versions?

I haven’t tested any paid for products (only free) but for free, Comodo can’t be beat. I bet Comodo is even better than some of these paid products. CFP 2.4 (final) should hopefully be released tommorow some time with the new beta (3.0) being released around February.

All versions of CFP come will an un-installer so you shouldn’t have any problem un-installing (not that you would want to anyway)

I had ONLY Comodo products in mind when asking about “any release products” being better than my BETA. (L)
you shouldn't have any problem un-installing (not that you would want to anyway)
I would ONLY consider uninstalling Comodo if it was REQUIRED to install a new ver. (R)

I was ONLY asking about the safety of the BETA ver. because some functions in the INTERFACE are disabled and wanted to be assured of no disabled security settings etc. (J)
