Balloon Alerts Suggestion

I think one major change should be made to balloon alerts. Right now if you have the enabled you get an alert when it goes to check for updates even if there no update. I think it alerts when it checks for an update.

The better way to do this is to alert when the update is successful or if it fails for some reason. Not if it checks for an update and there is no update. The user does not need to know that.

What do you guys think, vote.

Note this behavior is changed from AV Settings to More, Preferences, General, “Show balloon messages”.
The previous behavior was connected to AV Settings, “show alerts/notifications”.

Another suggestion for sandbox alerts:

  • An option to get one sandbox alert every time a specific application xyz.exe is sandboxed( currently it is one alert per session for one application).

  • An option to specify the duration of balloon alerts( eg, from 1 to 10 seconds)

I think balloon alerts or notifications are now related to the tasks being launched. However , it’s gonna be a real and actually a necessary improvement if they follow this suggestion.
