Backup to NAS

Hello,

I have CB_3.0.158892.66_xp_vista_server2003_server2008_win7_BETA3 installed on Server 2008 R2.

I am trying to backup data which is stored on another PC (on a shared folder) to a share on a NAS drive.

If I opt so save the backup destination as “Network Location” Comodo tells me this is an Invalid path and does not even request for authenticate against the NAS like it does with other Network Locations, such as windows PCs. (Image Attach).

If I opt to use the MY Computer and map for a network drive (NAS shared mapped) it shows me the backup was successfull but no folder is created on the NAS.

Any one with similar experiences?

Hi

Please update to the latest version of CB.
In the latest version you can manually type the destination path (see attached screenshot).

Thanks

Hello,

I have updated to the latest version and still trying to fight with the configs, but for the moment I notice something that used to happen on the previous version.
After installed it notifies me that some errors occured during instalation, that I should check the instal log. there I can see the following
18.10.2010 11:57:19 Checking cbufs.sys integrity…
18.10.2010 11:57:19 cbufs.sys IS DAMAGED!

The same happened on previous version…
Comodo is running on a W2k8R2

any ideas?

Please try to uninstall, restart and then install again.
It looks like there was a problem during installation.

Thanks

Just done it. Unistall it and reinstall it as “Run as Administrator” and same result. Application does work but alwasys display some errors occoured during instalation.

Hi

Please follow the steps here to determine the cause of the problem: https://forums.comodo.com/news-announcements-feedback-cb/how-to-collect-debug-information-t63958.0.html
You can post debug.cbu file here or email it to me for analysis .

Thanks
