Avira found a Trojan as Comodo was updating?

After I installed Comodo it started to automatically update, then Avira my other anti virus program detected TR/2ndThought.AA2 Trojan
It is currently in quarantine. I was wondering does this have anything to do with you guys or is this a coincident that I got a Trojan as Comodo was updating?

I believe it is a FP from avira submit it to virustotal to see who else detects it and also submit it to avira as a possible FP.

Yes it is most likely a false positive. That tends to happen a lot when you update security programs. Happened to me once back when I used counterspy and avast detect an update from it as a trojan.

You should not have 2 antivirus programs running at one time :P0l

Comodo was automatically updating and Avira automatically detected it O0

I am unfamiliar with avira. Does it have an option where you can submit the infected file to avira? Avast has that option and I believe avast 5 does it automatically in that it submits the file to avast for further analysis. In the past doing it that way for me I found 4/5 of viruses found by avast to be false positives.

Guys, If your using AVIRA then you should NOT use comodo AV. Choose one or the other… Things happen, Your pc might crash or other incompatibilities can happen in the background that you don’t know about.

This is true, but on mine. I use avira (in realtime) and comodo in statefull mode. On avira and comodo, I just exclude the AV Databases on both of them

This has been a problem from a while, the problem is avira. (Because their the ones that are flagging it)
