No problems here. For me at least everything’s stable.
I guess either the cloud av doesn’t like us both or it works only when it is in mood.
on a serious note sometime working and sometime not working here.

No problems here too, except the fact that the detection level is not improved comparing to CIS 4.1 and cloud AV not very much active 
@Adonis. Could the supposed changes tomorrow be a fix/improvement to the av or cloud do you think?

Frankly, I don’t know, because i still don’t know what changes we will have tomorrow (I’ve heard it would be a threatcast working again but nobody form comodo stuff commented it)

There will be new hardware added for CIMA before the final release these days. Let’s see ow that influences look up times.
Can you provide me with that source. I don’t remember having heard Melih or egemen about it.

I installed CIS5 on August 29
With that version it would freeze when starting up if i tried to install the full package.
When i installed without av it worked fine.
Others on Wilders were having problems installing or running the full package.
I see. That problem is caused by CIS meeting unknown files during boot where there is no network connection yet and subsequently no cloud look up of course.
This was added to solve that problem.
Is anybody willing to try a clean install of the latest, 1126, give it a spin and report back?

I think that problem has been resolved. I downloaded during the day via open wifi. I then installed it later without any internet connection. It installed fine and then labeled a few files as dangerous. It didn’t hang or freeze. Once it had an internet connection everything was good. It updated the AV sigs and all was well. Running it on Xp pro sp3.

Does this mean while installing its necessary to be connected to the net?? Coz I guess in the cloud requires internet.

That’s what it is implied.
When I do a clean install of CIS, which I do on a fairly regular basis when testing, I always enable Windows Firewall before uninstalling. I have noticed that it is not a problem to use them side by side for a little while (I often forget to turn the Windows Firewall off and usually think about it when I start setting up rules for eMule … 88)
