AV Security Suite

Hi, I have a number of friends/colleagues who keep getting AV Security Suite installed on their computers. It takes over and there is nothing they can do to get rid of it. I have never had this but I am the only one using Comodo Internet Security.

Does anyone know what this is (Malware/Spyware etc.) and am I right in thinking that CIS would stop them from getting this in the future. Assuming they can actually get rid of it as it seems to stop the whole computer working!

Using CIS nothing can install on your computer unless you specifically allow it. Thus you are protected from malware unless you are tricked into allowing it.

Of course this is only true if it isn’t already detected by the AV. In this case it would be removed the second it tried to run.
