Installed Comodo CIS with just the Anti Virus option.
The “Virus Defense” says virus database has “Never Updated”.
If I click on Never Updated an error dialog appears
" Update failed. Error code 0x800040002. No such interface supported"
Tried both fix methods listed in

(1) Method 1 (deleting bases.cav …) no change
(2) Method 2 (cfpupdat -cfpau) did not bring up a balloon message.
