I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong forum section (for I cannot find the right place to put it).
COMODO Internet Security told me that an update was available, so I updated. After the update (and restart), it went from Free to Premium status (I assume Premium is a paid or trial version; I hope to be proven wrong).
I just want to make sure it didn’t upgrade to a trial without my consent. I don’t want to reinstall this; If it is a trial version (or a paid version, which I am not aware of who would be paying it (which would be a possible lawsuit towards myself for using someone else’s money… unwillingly!)), I might as well switch to a gasp different security suite for not notifying me that it was a status upgrade.
If this is a bug, tell me what to do to downgrade – I would like to keep this product but, as I said, I may change to a different company’s product if this is not resolved (or proven that Premium is Free, just with a different name).
