Comodo Dragon does notify you when a new version has been released and asks if you would like to update.
Sorry. Very handy feature. No need to think about new versions. They are simply downloaded and installed in the background.
Many people do not like applications that do this. (Download and install without asking first…)
a good compromise would be an option to select when it ask to update that says “always install the latest version without asking”. and also inform the user where they can change it back to ask every time in options in case the user changes their mind about updates without asking
