Well, okay, I figure. I’m not happy that I have to reinstall the parts of IE I deleted to cripple some of Windows’ bad behavior, but it’s not as though I’ll ever run the program again, once I’ve actually set it up. So I fix the version of IE 6.0 that came with the installation, set it to connect through a LAN, and try Comodo’s update again.

Annoying. I go back into IE, specify that it should try to connect to the internet through an always-on high-speed connection. I try Comodo again.

I had not had the problem with previous versions of Comodo, before antivirus protection was included, but now I’m not able to update anything at all. I’m running 32-bit WinXP Pro SP2. Can anyone help?
