aupo update

i cant get BO Clean to auto update. i have it set to auto but it never happings. i have to do it manually. it will update ok manualy by the way. any ideas guys?

A few ideas:

  1. Make sure that you have ‘Check for update every … hours, beginning … minutes after bootup’ checked and filled in appropriately. This option is under ‘Configure BOClean’.
  2. Make sure your firewall is not blocking CBOclean.
  3. Have you waited long enough for a new update to come through?
  4. Limited user accounts sometimes encounter a permissions problem (which is easily fixed).

thanks for the reply jim…

1 yes the auto update setup is set correct

2 the firewall is not blocking it.

3 yes i am waiting long enough for the updates

4 Limited user accounts sometimes encounter a permissions problem (which is easily fixed).
this is the only thing i donk know about how do i check this?

If you are on Windows XP the easiest way to check this is to go into the Control Panel, Click ‘User Accounts’ and then ‘User Accounts’ again. A new popup should then load, look for your username and underneath it should say if you are an administrator or limited user.

If you are running as an administrator it may be that something is blocking it, what other real-time security software are you running? It be may also be worth doing a clean install by uninstalling CBOclean, restarting your computer, then reinstalling CBOclean and then restarting again.
