Audit failure with Guard32.dll

I get repeated audit failures with the Guard32.dll file in location windows/system32/guard32.dll The audit error says the image hash of the file is not valid. I have tried replacing the file with the copy in the Comodo repair folder, but no change. Also have run the diagnostics test with no change. Anyone else having this failure. ? Check your event viewer.

Running Vista Home premium, Comodo version 3.0.18.309.

I have only Audit Success messages in the log. I will move this to the Help for V3 section to get more exposure to those who might have the problem.

I had this error message with 3.0.17. I have not had it happen yet with v3.0.18 in the last 3 days.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve now had it twice in the past 24 hrs. Not a big problem, but obviously something my computer doesn’t like. I’m thinking a lot of users don’t know that their event viewer even exists, so suspect a lot more problems with this and other programs that aren’t being detected.

Being a member on several forums, I’m constantly amazed at how many people don’t know anything about the internal workings of their computers, or even care.
