Ok, why is it necessary to make the newest Comodo not accept the previous config files? When I installed, ok fine the rules are gone, I can import the older setting file I had backed up, but lo-and behold, importing it does NOTHING. All it did was import a completely blank config with no rules. What is the reasoning behind this?
Honestly these updates are doing more harm than good.
This has happened to a few of us Komugi,everything has to be learnt and redone.Also make sure you run the “Stealth Ports Wizard” to get some Global rules back.

At this point, I think I’m just going to uninstall Comodo for good, ever since 3.0 every update has broken more things than it fixed.

Sorry for your frustration. The same thing happened to me but I re wrote all my rules and now I am good to go again. I know it is a pain but the devs needed to change the format of the config file for some reason. Even though it was a bit of a setback, I am not yet ready to throw out CFP as I think that I have the best protection possible by using it. Hopefully we will not have too many more of these surprises. Hang in there, don’t give up yet and you will see more good than bad come from Comodo.
