Application crash (0xC000005) in dragon_s.dll, version

After updating to ver. the CD browser started to crash and to show request to restart.
The crashes seem to be random but they almost always happen during:

  1. An attempt to start the browser. The message box which appears after a crash and has a button to restart the browser may appear repeatedly many times before the browser actually has started.
  2. An attempt to open a new tab using a mouse (i.e. the browser crashes after clicking a small button to the right of tabs to create a new one). Tabs are opened successfully with “Ctrl+T” hotkey or by clicking “New Tab” command in the pop-up menu.
  3. An attempt to open the following items in the pop-up menu: “Switch to virtual mode”, “About”.

I’ve found these topics:

I’m not sure where I could change the DPI exactly, but changing font sizes and page zoom didn’t help in this case.

Resetting user profile didn’t help either.

My OS is Windows 10 x64.

The solution
Disabling and reenabling the following two builtin Comodo extensions helped to resolve the issue.

  1. Comodo Drag&Drop Service (2.4.2).
  2. Comodo Share Page Service (0.1).
*I don’t know which one exactly caused the bug, since I disabled them at once.

Hope this helps someone.
