A. THE BUG/ISSUE
I have configured EssentialPIM, a calendar program, tasks, notes and email, as blocked application (I do not use the email function). From version 7.50 EssentialPIM free has an annoying nag screen, so I decided to block the Internet access using Comodo Firewall, trying not to see the nag screen anytime I open the program.
But the nag screen was still popping up, so I set up my email account for use with EssentialPIM and check if Comodo Firewall was actually blocking the internet access.
What happened ? EssentialPIM seamlessly accesses the Internet, and download emails, even though Comodo Firewall is configured to block it from accessing the Internet.
b. Can you reproduce the problem & if so how reliably?
If you can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what you did & what happened
Yes, i can reproduce the problem. I delete EseentialPIM from the list of applications, i I put it back as blocked, accept the changes, and Comodo Firewall still don´t block it.
Not so reliably.I tried three times, one time the block worked, the other two not.
c. If a software compatibility problem have you tried the advice to make programs work with CIS?
Yes, the software is not sandboxed (Checked in the window of sandboxed programs and in the Comodo log)
