Application Agent fails to initialize with the error number 0xc0000142 is the error i get after reinstalling. It tells me reinstalling might correct this issue, but it does not. It is not a system resources (memory) error. I suspect there might be a windows service this program depends on to run and that service isnt running, but i really dunno for sure. Anyone have any ideas?
Looks like i get the same error with the updater too.

Internal error numbers like this are beyond the experience of the user forum. your best bet would be to go to http://support.comodo.com, register and lodge a support ticket with the official support centre.
When/if they come back with an answer, can you please post the results back here for the benefit of others.
