Hello,

Does an API to firewall and/or other CIS components exist?

E.g., to offer a suer to whitelist an application when it’s being installed, and/or perform other similar actions programmatically?

There is no such thing.

Comodo has Comodo Endpoint Security Manager (CESM) that can help to install CIS over the local network and maintain it. It can be used for free in a network with a maximum of 5 computers.

May be it has some functionality of what you are looking for.
