!ot! the cause of my cav failure to update was because my windows host file was modified. Some hacks modified it and overriden all antivirus website ip address so that I cannot access nor download nor update any anti virus programs… all I did was delete all that was added to my host file by opening it with notepad…
anyways… hosts file should be at system32/drivers/etc folder… too lazy to explain the rest… gtg!
