Anti-virus wont scan after fresh install.

I’m currently running windows 7 64 bit. It is a fresh install after formatting the C:
One of the first things I did after getting completely set up was to download Mozilla, and then Comodo Internet security.

As of right now, the Sandbox, Defense+ and Firewall features are working. The A-v will not scan.

When I click on the scan now for a full system scan (i reinstalled windows last night as well as downloading Mozilla, and CIS) it raises a dialogue box that says, “Scan Failed. Anti-virus is not initialized”

I would really like to know how I can fix this, as I have been having problems with my files on other drives.

Start with running Diagnostics (under More) and see if that helps or what it reports.

What database number does it say it downloaded? Look under More -->About.
