Anti Virus ---Excessive Page File and Physical Memory Usage.

Ive had to unistall Comodo AntiVirus as when it was running a scan it would quite literally slow my machine to the extent that it was unusable. (Which is a shame as i use the firewall which is excellent)

PF usage was 1.2gb the highest ive seen and Physical Memory was left with non available.

I have a dell inspiron 6000. 1.6ghz intel centrino 512mb ram.

Anybody got any ideas?

Hi,
The memory uses is being reduced in upcoming CAV Beta2 version. Also some major engine bugs(which may have created Excessive Page File uses) for some different file format have been fixed. So you may want to give another try with CAV Beta2.
