Another HIPS problem-window with listed apps is everytime autoclosed

Comodo AntiVirus:
When I try to manage allow/block list of app in Settings/HIPS Ap. Control - by clicking the manage button - the opened window with listed apps is everytime autoclosed back during 1 sec. I have no time to select and remove the application which I blocked by my fault.

Is any file with list of blocked apps in comodo directory to do it manually?

Thanks and regards

Roman

Hello all,

Searching the forum before starting a new post, I came across this topic. I do have the same problem. By accident I blocked mrtstub.exe. I suppose it plays a role in updating Windows, as the updates installed succesfully once I turned HIPS off.

Before that I tried to remove said .exe file using ‘manage allow/block list’, but it closes to fast to be able to do anything about it. System info:

i’m having the same problem :frowning:

Same problem - I accidentally blocked Eudora and now can’t open my email. Please help!

i had the same problem. cool huh, the HIPS even got “auto close” feature ;D
let me give you all, a simple, robust,brilliant advise… uninstall CAVS2 ;D
you know, i think the best point of having CAVS2 is the HIPS part (the detection rate’s still inferior compared to oher major AV), but now since we can get a better HIPS from CFP3 defense+, so i guess we should just :

  1. uninstall CAVS2, use another AV for now, and wait for CAVS 3
  2. install CFP3 w/Defense+
