Am I missing something?

I am still with 5.10 firewall.

On every alert I get (for example) zzz.exe is trying to connect to 192.169.23.45

Is there a way to see a domain rather than an IP? Would be much easier to make a decision if, for example, the alert would be zzz.exe is trying to connect to crl.microsoft.com

Another thing:

Is it possible to disable rules (for testing purpose)?

Thanks,
Claudiu

There was a wish for that. It does not show the domain. Even in version 6 I think it still shows the IP address.

I didn’t see a way to disable them without deleting all the rulesets through advanced settings. It is possible but you have to delete them all and then recreate them when you wanted back.

Hi andrei1997,

Thank you for your answer!

For testing purpose I installed an “unsupported anymore” firewall: PC Tools Firewall Plus from the former PCTools.

Each alert will give you the domain and each rule has a square in front for check / uncheck rule ;
seems to be an extremely elegant approach.
