Upgraded to version 7 the other day and last night, when I was trying to install Visual Studio 2013 update2 RC I started getting alerts popping up but disappearing before I could click anything. This happened over and over again. This morning it did the same when Avast was trying to update. I searched the forum and found some threads that showed this was a known problem on Win 8. I’m using Win 7 though. Anything I can do?
Exactly same situation for me.
I have the free comodo firewall installed and I received new update notification, so I updated and now every time something needs access to internet that doesn’t have a rule created yet shows the alert and instantly it dissapears then it appears again and instantly dissapears and it goes on like that for couple times till it dissapears completely.
I’m using Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Edit: Exported my configs and reinstalled comodo firewall. Seems to be working fine now.
Try updating to the just released new version 7.0.317799.4142:
