alert windows pop up for 1 sec only

hi,
one week ago, when i got my new computer, i installed CIS and so far i am very happy with it. but i have two issues… i don’t know wheter they are firewall or antivirus issues…

  • the alert windows pop up only for a very short time, maybe less than a second. not enough to read or choose… with mouse over still they dissapear

  • with the proactive konfiguration the videos on yahoo are not shown, switching to internet security konfiguration helps. what exact setting or parameter prevents the videos from being played?

Can you please tell me what type of operating system you are using?

Also, were there any other security programs installed on your computer before installing CIS? Are there currently any other security programs installed?

hi,
i am using Windows 8 64bit. yes there was mcafee which i removed with the removal tool from mc afee before i installed comodo. no, there is no other security software installed. first the pop up alerts showed correctly.

I believe that this is a bug, and I could not find a bug report already created for this. Therefore, if you don’t mind, could you please make a bug report for this in this area of the forum. Be sure to follow the format provided in this post.

Same issue here, Win8 x64.
alerts are reported in the logs but left unanswered, really strange and frustrating.
If at least we could have the EXACT information onto what has been going on!!

Tried to uninstall completely and reinstall with fresh empty rules, no changes…

Do you also see the alerts pop up and then quickly go away?
