Alert after disabling Antivirus

Hello,
I have comodo firewall + antivirus installed on my computer. I decided to turn off real time protection and do full scan once a week.
Is it possible to get rid of this message “the antivirus protection is disabled!” and change the tray icon back to normal?

When I open comodo I see big words “At Risk”, “Fix it”. It’s really annoying. I’m not sure, but in previous version there was something like “I have my own antivirus” option to check. I can’t find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think your thinking Microsoft Action Center hide messages override, CIS doesn’t have such things.

This is what it looks like. You can see “X” in the tray icon.

Hi and welcome Mat15,
There has been a wish in the past for the ‘At risk’ notifications to be configurable, but unfortunately it was rejected.
That was quite awhile ago, so it maybe worth creating a new wish.

I have a couple of non elegant and possibly even ugly workarounds to be used at your own risk.

  1. Remove the AV component altogether leaving the Firewall and use Comodo Cleaning Essentials for your on demand scan.

  2. An even dirtier workaround.
Leave the AV component active and add the entire drive to the AV exclusions list until you want to manually scan the drive.
This has the added risk that it also excludes the drive for on demand scans, so it needs to be removed before scanning.

Kind regards.

Thank you captainsticks.

I’m gonna create a wish.
Option with adding drive to exclusion seems okay for now.
