After reading all the good reviews etc etc, I installed comodo free firewall ( cfw installer 573283.exe) last night anticipating a safer working win 7 ultimate 32 bit system. Unfortunately it’s now so safe, my PC don’t even want me to login.
I had avg with avg secure browser search installed, and with comodo install I selected comodo search as well which de-activated my avg protection. Installation went smooth until I had to restart to complete it & viola, here it hangs on a black screen.
The only way i can access my system is with safe mode & I tried restoring and uninstalling comodo but it does not help, every time I login I can go no further than the black screen & have to try safe mode again.
As far as the installation went I did nothing wrong, I’m STUCK PLEASE HELP !!!
Captainsticks helped me out on this one, although it did cost me to remove / uninstall all my other security software first. If you run like me avg as well, beware the two don’t like each other very much! See the link.
I’m happy to hear that this issue is solved on your system. If you have not already I would suggest that you run the removal tools I recommend in that link. Then, also run the removal tool for AVG. Once that is done you should be able to safely reinstall Comodo Firewall, if you like.

I ran the cleanup tools, but sadly after restart it’s given me a brand new fresh problem 
Now my keyboard and mouse refuse to work even in safe mode
Please create a new Help topic in this section, and send me a PM with a link to the new topic. That will be the best place to figure this out, which I am certain is fixable.
