Advanced/ Modular Shortcuts

Tired of having to dig through the GUI to get to the option you need to tweak?

Consider that Comodo sports a pretty modular work flow.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could append CIS shortcuts with variables that would allow us to quickly open the window of our choice? For instance…

If we change the target from “C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\cfp.exe” to “C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\cfp.exe” -netapprules, then clicking on the shortcut would take us directly to the Application Rules tab in the Network Security Policy window.

Wait! I’m not suggesting that you rewrite the target to your shortcut every time you want to open a particular window. That would be silly and even more tedious. I’m suggesting that you could make multiple shortcuts, that allow you to skip handfuls of steps and launch what you want straight from your start menu or desktop. Think of it like a favorite or bookmark.
