What I fully disagree with is the nature of the program, which is to block all ads, is being compromised with the above business practices.
Ads which are normally blocked can now be displayed, if you as an advertiser are willing to pay to not have those ads blocked.
In this sense, yes, it is a form of extortion. Especially since the advertisers have also payed the host website to display them.
I don’t think it’s extortion, but it is unethical and makes Adblock plus a sellout. :-TD
