With the latest version of CIS installed (509) my backup image always stops at 45% and stays there until I kill the process.
After trying numerous ways to cure the problem I find there are two ways for the image to work.
1 Uninstall CIS.
2 Stop both CIS processes using msconfig then remove the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\cmdguard.sys keeping a copy on another drive then restart.
Cmdguard.sys appears to stop the backup image from working correctly.
Have tested the recovery image and everything works fine.
I have had no problems with all CIS versions prior to 3.9 including all CPF versions
