Access denied to folder problem.

Hi,

First I want apologize for my poor english. Now to the point. I made a backup of my old windows xp c: partion and I set up new system. After that I mounted old c: patition on my new windows by comodo backup. It appeared in my computer folder with new letter. Then I wanted to copy my old desktop files, from mounted image, to my present windows desktop. But while opening the old folder (mountedC:image:\Documents and settings\account_name) I got Windows dialog with: Access Denied. I now that this is connected with my old login (present windows can’t have access to this files). I tried to change folder option but it didt work because i cant make changes on mounted images. I have stored very important files on old disc so I would be grateful for your help.

Hi,

Please mount the backup image in read-write mode (Manage → Mounted drives), then go to that folder where access is denied and edit the security settings.
Make sure you are the owner and that you have the proper access rights.

Thanks
