About the symbol used in the rules dialog.

First of all, thank you for your work and support.

I am using comodo firewall 4.0.141842.828 on Windows XP SP3.

Since version 3.8.***, I have been anxious about a following matter.

The symbol used to denote IP range in the rules dialog quite confuse me.

Generally, The symbol “/” is used to denote IP net mask,
and the symbol “-” is often used to denote IP range.

so, Using “/” instead of “-” to denote IP range really annoys people who is
familiar with computer network.

I don’t know this matter is bug or intended thing.
In either case, I would appreciate it if you would resolve the matter.

yeah i agree it does seem odd.

Thank you for your reply.

As I mentioned above, I really think so.

By the way, that matter doesn’t exist in version 3.5.57173.439.
Version 3.5.57173.439 is quite normal in that point.
In this version, “/” is used for net mask and “-” is used for net range.

so, something happened after this version.

I wonder why nobody pointed out the matter.
