Can this firewall protect me form the attacks of arp? If so ,what shoud I do ? I am a lay man about this ,expecting an specific answer ,thanks!
hi,
good question
Mike
To my knowledge, CFP v2.4 doesn’t have any arp protocol capability. I’ve seen references to v3 having some capability.
As an aside, if you’re getting arp attacks, then your LAN has some serious security problems. That’s not something that a firewall is going to really be able to deal with. It means somebody is running a packet sniffer on your LAN, and maybe physically playing with your wiring.
hi,
arp is mac address level?
which v2.4 cant handle?
