ability to export/import protected files/reg keys

One thing Id like to see is the ability to export then import protected files and reg keys much like the way you can for the security policies. This way when you have to uninstall due to an upgrade or crash you can get all your protected items back without spending hours and hours re-adding them manually.

You can already do it with the security policies so it shouldn’t be too hard to implement for protected reg keys and files.

The configuration utility exports/imports all of your settings including protected files and registry keys.

But here we have a problem. If I import the settings from an old installation of CIS to a new, it will subscribe any added new configuration of the new CIS version.
