Sometimes I can be paranoid about things and not trust even myself. In the stealth port wizard I had chosen the option to block all ports (atleast I hope I did). Now 2 weeks ago I wasn’t sure if I had chosen that option so I chose that option again just to be sure. This week again due to the whole fuss about the conficker worm I began to panic so I went back and chose the block all ports option again. My question is if doing that will do the opposite and unblock all ports or somehow compromise my security? I mean in math when u times a negative and a negative together you get a positive and back when I used to do musical compositions I used a program that if you did changed and option and went back and keep choosing that option it will revert back to the opposite setting.
The Stealth Port Wizard just adds predefined rules to your global rules in your network security policy.
Go to Firewall > Advanced > Network security policy > Global rules.
You should see the rules in my screen shot below. If you do, you have that third option to stealth all ports selected.

Hmmm not sure if I’m understanding you here friend. In the stealth port wizard that is exactly the option I choose… the one where it stealth all ports. What I’m wondering is if I selection the 3rd option and then went and selected it again will it undo anything?
No, selecting that same 3rd option multiple times will not reverse those global rules that it creates, so your ports will still be stealthed.
Oh ok friend and thank you for the prompt reply.
No problem.
I’ll mark this as resolved.
