a question about proactive defese

I read somewhere on these forums that when installing proactive defense that the default option, option 2 (optimum defense) was the best. Isn’t the third option (maximum defense) better? What’s the difference between the two?

Yes, When installing CIS & “COMODO Firewall” Only, You have those 3 options. Basically, If you want Full D+ Power and CFP 3.0 alike, Choose the 3rd option. The Middle one is recommended for average users and/or that have an AV Installed. Myself personally would leave the middle one checked, if you have an AV Installed already. CIS improves usability, and COMODO have worked hard to make that happen, and it works.

Hope this clarifies.
