I have a question…Why does my internet connection only work when I make my settings…‘Allow All’.
When I make my settings ‘custom’ I cannot log on to the internet…Why??
And I appologise for not entering this question in the correct place but I could not find any other…!!

Is svchost.exe allowed to access the Internet? If not, you won’t be able to obtain/update your IP, or use the DNS. Both of these functions are necessary for Internet to work.

thanks ragwing but I can access the internet but only when my firewall is set at ‘allow all’.

Is there anything that’s getting blocked in the logs?
Also, could you please take a screenshot of your Application Rules and Network Rules?
