How can I tell it I don’t want it to do a full system scan? I have 3 hard disks, it takes forever and I know with full certainty I’m not infected (I wasn’t yesterday, I’m not now and never have been in my 30 years of computing!) On an old laptop and an old computer for my daughter it takes 4 or more hours…
I don’t think you can make the recommendation go away.
I suppose you can either scan when you have enough time or just ignore the warning.
