A few things, I would like to see in COMODO Internet Security

Hopefully this belongs here :o Sorry if it doesn’t.

There a are a few things I would like to see in COMODO Internet Security.

  1. A re-scan option for quarantine. I have a file in there which I think is a FP (a long time ago that was added) and I would like to rescan it to see if it’s considered safe now. I think that would a be a great idea, so I don’t have to let the file out of quarantine for 1 minute.

  2. The ability to hide the COMODO SafeSurf system tray icon. I got way too many icons in my tray and I would like to be able to remove it, w/o having to exit safesurf.

  3. I would like to be able to be able to hide, the “Antivirus is updating” message. What about the choice to put it in with the main system tray icon, and when it’s updating, turn the COMODO Internet Security icon into something else to make sure it’s updating :slight_smile:

EDIT: Never doubled checked the tile the I want to sounded kinda rude, so sorry about that, I meant I would like to see.

Many users have requested these as well.

As of CIS version 3.8.64263.468, buffer overflow protection is built into CIS. Safesurf can uninstalled.

Just check here:
D+ > Advanced > Image Execution Control Settings > make sure ‘Detect Shellcode injections’ is checked. :slight_smile:

Also, if you have a lot of System Tray icons and want to eliminate some or all of them, do a right click on the System Tray, select PROPERTIES - > CUSTOMIZE and set the one you don’t want to see to ALWAYS HIDE.
