Running in compatibility mode didn’t work
running as administrator didn’t work

However
running in compatibility mode (2000) as administrator did the trick.

Theeeeen it said it didn’t support the target platform.

Disabled compatibility mode and then the installer ran fine but it still says no support for target platform. :o

What is going on?

Possibly corrupted download, re-download the installer and try again.
