Hi, some time ago I have upgraded through COMODO’s Check for Upgrades to ver 5.3.176757.1236. Until now, there is no info in Release notes about this version … and today I found, there is newer version than this one, and still no info available about this version.
1, Does anybody know wha is new in 5.3.176757.1236?
2, In the past, I found, that it takes several days/weeks, before Release notes are upgraded with current info - who can fix it (that the info is complete&up tp date)?
Below are some of the enhancements. The fixes included in the release notes are not the full list of the fixes.
NEW! Full IPv6 Support in firewall
NEW! Rootkit Scanner - Hidden registry keys, files and folders are detected

FIXED! CIS causes massive amount of entries in windows security audit logs
FIXED! AV does not validate the revocation status of the certificates in signed binaries

What’s New in 5.3.176757.1236?

this is all pulled from egemans post when each version was released
just as an FYI egeman is one of the main developers of cis and he is the one that releases new versions of cis to this forum
why are they so slow on putting the release notes out. the new version of cis and it’s release notes should be posted at the same time. why does comodo struggle with this so much? i just want an answer. i don’t care if the answer is we’re just lazy or if their is a better reason. i just want someone from comodo to acknowledge that it’s users want an answer to this question and give one. either way i’m not going to leave comodo. i just want an and could care less if the reason is a good reason or not. i just don’t like feeling ignored or like comodo’s ignoring anyone who brings up this question
Its a good post, probably passing through unnoticed. Comodo had been questioned about this in previous occasions however no answere (AFAIK) were given then either.
