4 problems (license, hamachi, hibernate), 1 wish

I installed comodo personal firewall 2.2.0.11 (after I cleanly uninstalled cygate firewall, which I still quite like, and use it on my other systems).

  1. I could not register with the activation code I received (this was reported by other users):

  1. hamachi ( http://hamachi.cc ) failed to connect to server, even though I gave all permissions to hamachi.exe. Please fix this, hamachi is very useful to me;

  2. Since I installed CPF, I cannot put my laptop to hibernate, when I choose hibernate from start menu, the hibernate dialog briefly shows up then disappears, I have to shutdown the system instead.

  3. sandboxie’s start.exe crashes;

Here’s another wish (I don’t know it’s a bug or not): one application causes “###.EXE refuses communication with Comodo Personal Firewall. This may happen either because ###.EXE is crashed and needs to be restarted or it has installed potentially dangerous kernel level hooks to reveal its activities. This is typical of Virus, Trojan and Spyware behaviour. Some security applications such as antivirus or personal firewall applications may also force such an alert.”

This application (###.EXE) is a trusted application and I answered the pop-up “Allow”, but the same pop-ups just keep coming up and it’s becoming very annoying. Can you add some configuration to allow user’s “trusted applications”?

My System is WinXP Home, version 5.1, build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519; Service Pack 2.

Please try the beta release at https://forums.comodo.com/index.php/topic,1047.msg6504.html#msg6504

Thanks.

Tried the new beta.

Hamachi works now.

But my laptop still cannot go hibernate, sandboxie’s start.exe still crashes, and CPF still refuses to accept activation code.

I am wondering if I should get a new activation code…

Yes pls get a new activation code.
