4.25 not updating

I installed BOClean V4.25, seems it doesnt want to update, I am running XP Home 1 gig memory SP2.
Last update was 2007-11-26 14:04:33, when I run maual update it says “not connected check firewall settings” I have turned my firewall off but still recieve the message, any help please.
Where can I get the updates from any site?

Is IE in “Offline” mode?

The issue was IE - not Outlook Express - see:

Both links describe the IE issue. Interesting to note that the first linked KB article was last reviewed yesterday. Even though they both refer to IE 4 and/or 5, evidently the issue continued in IE6.
Also worthwhile noting that the issue does not appear to be resolved by MS, the registry change may not stick and they admit to such in the KB article.
Resetting :
HKEY_USERS\SID\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\GlobalUserOffline to 0 resolved the issue on all the boxes in question.

Shutdown BOClean from systray.
Go to C:\Program Files\Comodo\CBOClean
Right-click BOC423.exe then click Properties.
Click the “Compatibility” tab
Under Privilege level
Check the box “run this program as administrator”
Click OK then close the properties.

Launch BOClean, right-click then click check for updates.

If that doesn’t help you download the latest update from the FTP site :

… and move the file to the location specified in the BOClean configuration screen. The manual update and the automatic update are the same at all times :slight_smile:

I tried all of these suggestions of yours but i still get the message “Update not available at the moment”.
I can download the update when i go to the site : ftp://nsdownloads.comodo.com/pub/
but i wanted to make BOClean do it.
My OS : Windows XP
Antivirus : McAfee
Firewall : Microsoft Firewall
Is it maybe because i connect through proxy?
