I’m sure the CFP team is quite busy to say the least. I also have a couple of tickets that were filed weeks ago. Just give them time. (:WIN).
About the other firewalls - I have never installed them so I can’t comment.
You are not doomed to not being able to use CFP because there are other users with the same issue. There might be a bug.
