How many times Comodo AV acually downloads updates? i had Avast and NOD32 before and both of them installed new Virus Signatures every day, even a few times a day. And i (almost) never see Comodo doing it. How come?

And my second question is:
How is it possible that i can connect via ‘Teamviewer’ to my computer without any pop up at all from Comodo, asking my if i want to allow access to my machine? ??? When i tried it with ‘VNC’ he asked if i wanted to allow or block the incoming connection(and that what he has to do), but with ‘Teamviewer’, nothing. I don’t feel secure anymore.

I see updates about once an hour it seems. Look on your GUI and it will say “The virus database has been updated on ______.”

I can’t help with the second one.

I see now, it was updated just a few minutes ago :)…
But is there no pop up saying something like ‘Virus database has been updated’ ?

No, the updates are automatic and unless you look for it you would never know they happened at all. My PC is older so the updates are noticeable for me. If you click while it’s updating you have a progress bar but my experience is it goes from 0% to 50% to 90% and then it’s finished. I’m hoping this is fixed soon.

  1. Click on the comodo icon
  2. Click on “Defence +”
  3. click on “Common Tasks”
  4. Click on “My trusted software venders” <–Look in here (It may also be under the companys name and can be removed if you like

Was teamviewer there before or after comodo was installed.
And It dependes on how you configured comodo

This will narrow it down :slight_smile:

It was installed after Comodo. And all my settings are in ‘safe mode’
