You can use Avira+ D+. If you feel any slow, you can turn off D+.
The computer I am on is used by people to game on. Should I turn the firewall and also D+ to training ? And if so what should I do with Avira?
Basically I want to run as little memory as possible and still be safe
If it’s your first time to play that game, you need to turn the firewall and D+ to training mode.
And then keep training mode for 1~2hours while you are play a game.
Then you can change it to high option.
(after then if D+ or firewall ask you ‘allow’ some of games files again, allow them to ‘trusted’)
Also you don’t need to do anything with Avira.
If you feel any slow, you better use Antivirus only like Avira or CAV, no D+.
Yes, you can turn off D+. Just right-click on the the tray icon and select Disabled under Defense+ Security Level. Then reboot. Defense+ will be off.
Just run a short period of time for training before doing any real gaming. 10-15 minutes should be sufficient. Run through all the menus, chat, kill some things, etc… After the programs actions have been learned, there should be no problems.

No…
Some kind of games try to access HDD, memories, registries etc to write for temp files, saving files,
information files etc with never allowed excutable files.
It depands on games. So we need to run training mode about 1~2 hours.
If we don’t do this, Defend+ makes games crashed or freezed.
It happens alot especially at the online games when you change the server to another one for example.
