Just to let everyone know that we are “hoping” to get the CFP v3 Beta out on 16th Aug. We would ask all our willing users to help us find as many bugs as possible as soon as possible so that we can turn this beta around to a Release Candidate.
This is great news. Is it safe to say that this will have a wider OS compatibility than the alpha versions?
Specifically I am after WinXP x64, but I can imagine 2K3 Server being asked about as well.
Oh, and make sure the dev team uses some internal testing PC’s with 4GB+ RAM… I’d hate to see Comodo products fall down because their drivers didn’t account for changes in memory mapping with high RAM systems (like Creative Labs did with their drivers).
Finally it looks the wait will end, nice work, just a last question , in the Alpha version there where some tabs not working, will these work in Beta version as similar as the release candidate.
Thank you for such an outstanding product. I now upgraded to Vista and I’ve been using your firewall for the past couple of days . I truly appreciate all of your efforts and the fact that your give it to us for FREE. I can’t wait to install the Beta version (B)
It is quite an amazing firewall. I will recommend it to all of my friends (V)
Nice work there Melih with your wording - its good to remind people that its not a set date, just a possibility - that way (hopefully) people won’t be up till 4am on August 16th waiting for the new version ;D
